Eleys Auctions were established in Boston, Lincolnshire in 1882, by James Eley. 2008 was a very successful year for Eleys with the sale of Douglas Bader's personal artefacts sold for £115,000 and two Alfred de Breanski oils for £54,700.

From 2009 Golding Young, one of the UK’s leading regional auctioneers, will be responsible for all future sale instructions.




Golding Young were established in Grantham, Lincolnshire in 1900, by George Golding. Golding Young have had a presence in Boston since 1995.

Valuation Days:

Every Friday 9am to 1pm at The Grantham Auction Rooms, Old Wharf Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG31 7AA.


Second Wednesday of each month 10am to 1pm at The Princess Royal Sports Arena, Great Fen Road, Boardsides, Boston, Lincolnshire PE21 7PB.


No appointment is necessary and entries can be left with the Valuer.

Also a traditional General Sale is held in the Old Salerooms on the same day.
